Q: What is Rendezvous?    (updated 2008 )

A: Rendezvous is a gathering of friends and acquaintances who enjoy boating and the outdoors. 

Q: Who can attend?

A: , CPS. members, Students, friends, family, etc. You don't have to be a CPS member to attend.

Q: Can children attend?

A: Yes, it's a family event.

Q: What are we going to do?

A: Socializing is a big part of rendezvous. Many of the activities are weather related and your participation is completely optional. You may wish to tour some of the member's boats, share some boating experiences, perhaps go on a boat trip, somewhere for lunch. There will be kids events, games, nautical competitions, dinghy races, door prizes, etc. It promises to be a good time for everyone.

Q: Do I have to bring my own food?

A: Food will not be provided Friday evening. Get together with the group and check out a local  restaurant.  
There will be breakfast on Saturday ,
lunch and a Steak dinner Saturday evening and Breakfast on Sunday 
 You are asked to bring one item to compliment Saturday evening's dinner. If your last name starts with A to M, Pls bring a salad, N to Z pls. bring a dessert.- .

Q: Is it held rain or shine?

A: Yes, we will have use of a  pavilion or rain shelter to stay dry

Q: Do I need a boat to attend rendezvous?

A: No. If you are not staying on a boat, accommodations are available at  area Motels.  If you are planning on staying at a hotel, we urge you to make reservations A.S.A.P. They are extremely busy this time of the year.   R.V.'s and  Tent campers are welcome at the Marina for our event. The fees are as listed on the main Rendezvous Page .   

Q: When do I show up?

A: Most people arrive Friday afternoon, evening or early Saturday morning.

A:  Check the  main Rendezvous Page for the current location

Q: What does it cost?

A: Boaters are responsible for their slips or launch fees. RV ers and tenters pay for their sites.
    To help defray costs, Adults pay $15. each, children attend free.

    

 If you're arriving by land, stop at the  entrance  and tell the attendant you are attending the, Guelph P.&.S. Rendezvous. They should have your name on their list. If you're arriving by boat, call on the channel listed on Rendezvous Page   for instructions to the slips reserved for our use.) A map will be provided.

Please RSVP

We must provide the marina with the number of slips  required ASAP and no later than Aug. 27.

Please advise one of the contacts on the  main  Rendezvous Page with , size of boat, power or sail,  and. number in your group

     RV's and  tenter's; no later than Aug 27.     Don't be disappointed.
